The Chairman Emeritus and Managing Director of MKJ Group, Mr. Mahendra Kuman Jalan is a noted industrialist and a man of great vision and foresight. He has varied interests in steel, food processing, dairy, horticulture, real estate, port and industrial infrastructure.

As the Chairman Emeritus of The Keventer Group and CMD of MKJ Groups, he has been marketing alloy and stainless steel in India for 35 years. His deep knowledge was honed by his frequent visits to industrially advanced countries like the UK, USA, Germany and Japan.

After inheriting the rich legacy of Edward Keventer, Keventer Agro, under Mr. Jalan’s stewardship became synonymous with quality, purity and care. Metro Dairy milk and ice cream, beverages like Frooti, Appy, Appy Fizz, LMN and Bailley drinking water, have helped the group to live up to its promise of a better life to people. Going a step further, Keventer is focusing on the development and export of scientific, horticulture and medicinal plants.

Mr. Jalan also serves on the boards of several companies like Bengal NRI Complex Limited. He is a Trustee of Heritage School and Heritage Institute of Technology & Member of Board of Trustees of the Vidya Mandir Society (VMS).

He was an active member of industry bodies like the Federation of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Confederation of Indian Industry, Merchant Chamber of Commerce, and Indian Chamber of Commerce.

As a connoisseur of the fine arts, Mr Jalan is focused on the global promotion of Indian Art and Cinema.

Mr. Jalan is a Former Honorary Consul of Ireland in Kolkata from 10th October, 2010 to 13th June, 2018 and Former Hony. Consul of France in Kolkata from 24th February 2004 to 23rd February 2008

It is in recognition of his exemplary services that the French government honoured him with the National Order of Merit for his active role in promoting cultural and business relationships between India and France in 2007.

Mr. Jalan was awarded the Certification of Appreciation from Indian Stainless Steel Development Organization, ISDO in 2009. He was conferred the MANABIK Award for Service to Mankind by the Youth Guild for Friendship Concern for social development, environment protection in August 2007.

His passion for horticulture received recognition in 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009, when his rooftop garden won the first prize from the Agri-Horticultural Society, Kolkata.

Jain Swetambar Terapanthi Mahasabha awarded him the Samaj Bhushan Shrichand Rampuria Smriti Vyakhyanmal BODHI in November, 2005.

Mr. Jalan was honoured with Rajeev Gandhi Excellence Award for his outstanding contribution to the socio-economic development of India and promoting national integration in 1992.

His contributions to service and society have been recognized by both the State Government as well as the Central Government.

Keventer Group is pioneers in the dairy, agro and a number of other allied sectors, including real estate development. Keventer Realty, today is one of the key developers in Kolkata, with large construction success like Urbanna, Crosswinds , 88 East, Keventer Rishra to name a few.

Apart from that the group is also a JV partner with Tata Housing for the project 88 East.

Mr. Radhe Shyam Khetan is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), at Keventer Projects Limited – the Real Estate Division of Keventer Group. A Commerce Graduate from Calcutta University, Mr. Khetan started his career as a Sales Manager in Madanlal Agencies Limited, the parent company of Keventer Group in the year 1985.

A dynamic personality, Mr. Khetan’s innovative skills in problem solving accompanied by a wide experience in formulation of real estate strategies, business development, quality of property developed and environment friendliness of business has made him one of the core members of the Keventer Projects team. A business leader and a team person that he is, Mr. Khetan believes in leading from the front and has effectively acted as a mentor to the Real Estate Team, guiding associates in achieving their targets.

B.P Singh Roy, COO – Sales & Marketing, has dedicated 30 years to the Realty Sector in Domestic & International Markets. He spear-headed the challenging assignments of Regional Head – East BHW-Birla Home Finance Ltd., he was Head Marketing & Business Development – East, DLF Ltd., and acted as Advisor to MD – Sales & Marketing – Siddha Group. He has held the position of Assistant Vice President – Sales & Marketing at Emami Realty Limited.

B.P Singh Roy is a Science Graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata with a Master’s in Oceanography,a MBA from IISWBM and a MCA from Jadavpur University Kolkata. He is also a Certified Banking and Home Finance Professional from National School of Banking – Pune.

Amongst the many awards won by him are Marketer of the Year – 13th Realty Plus Conclave & Excellence Awards 2022, Marketer of the Year (Real Estate Sector) – West Bengal Real Estate Leadership Awards 2021, 100 Most Influential Marketing Leaders, World Marketing Congress 2018

He has also been affiliated as the Member of British Indian Association dedicated to preservation of History and Education and as President of Shramana Charitable Trust, dedicated to Healthcare & Rehabilitation of Homeless Elders.
